first time at velodrome

Tonight, Paula and I went with our friend Robin to the Lehigh Valley Velodrome, a new client of ours. The drive there was pretty dicey, with an impressive thunderstorm and an incredible hazy orange sunset.

Once there, the track and the racing was a blast. It was our first time at a velodrome. It's hard to believe that we've got one of the best professional velodrome tracks (one of only 17 in the US) only ten minutes away. Looks like we'll be saying, "Hey honey, it's race night!" on Fridays this summer. Great fun.

cat hog

The other day I took a walk and saw a most bizarre creature. It had the body of a ground hog and the head of a large, wild cat – almost like it had a mane. The creature looked at me and then continued on his path, not really bothered that I was there. When I returned about 30 minutes later, I heard the same rustling around in the trees and bushes. Then, I saw him again before he disappeared in the wood.

Of course, no one since has been able to see this strange cat hog creature, and they all think I’m crazy. But I’m determined….I’m going to find this creature again! Motivation for more walks, I think.

seven years lucky

Well, I must say, seven years seems really long and really short at the same time. This time seven years ago, Paula and I had kicked Crissi out of Paula's apartment so we could have our first kiss. We were already in love after only a day!

With Chloe on my lap, looking out from our wonderful house at our wonderful view, all I can say is that we're incredible lucky!

wedding invite

Seven years ago two people met.

For their friends the meeting was intriguing.
For the two it was miraculous - a moment they had pictured a thousand times before.

Immediately they recognized each other as if they had dreamed the other into being. They knew it was the beginning of a great and soulful adventure.

Seven years ago two people found their home.
