Looking at Paula's last entry, it's hard to fathom just how much has happened since. The situation she mentions fell through quite dramatically, though now we're so thankful of it, since we have beautiful Isabel in our lives instead.
Hard to imagine it was nearly a year ago that Jamie and David changed their minds. They took their baby back five days after the birth, after we'd taken her home to the hotel. Life was pretty awful for a while, at least until Isabel knocked all that completely out of mind. I guess in life the sorrow makes the joy all the sweeter. Joyful joyful!
In other news, I've wired up a feed subscription on this website so it's easier to point people to new Isabel photos. It's currently on the home page. Someday we'll make a web design to match :)
